The Sahara Hotel and Casino opened its doors in 1952 and
quickly became one of Las Vegas' most exciting
destinations. Featuring the era's most celebrated
performers, including Ann-Margret, Johnny Carson and
Tina Turner, the Sahara set the standard in Las Vegas
growing entertainment scene. The Sahara blazed new
ground by inviting the Beatles to Las Vegas for the very
first time!
The Sahara offers 1,720 classically styled guestrooms
and suites decorated in a Moroccan motif. The spacious
rooms include comfortable accommodations and a variety
of television-viewing options. Luxurious suites are
available in mini, one, and two bedroom models.
Accommodations for physically challenged guests are also
available.
Room service is available from 6am until midnight,
Hourly! The Sahara also offers catering services for
events such as weddings, birthdays and receptions.
In the heart of our property, we have a sparkling 5,000
square foot pool featuring 13 private cabanas, circular
fountains, a gazebo-covered spa and a snack bar that
offers tropical refreshments. The pool is open daily
throughout the summer. The spa is open year round
throughout the summer.
The
Sahara's 8,500 square foot casino features all the
gambling fun you can imagine..
Live entertainment can be found by visiting the Casbar
Lounge and the Congo Room.
The standard rooms are located in our
Alexandria Tower or Tunis Tower and total 550 rooms.
Each room is equipped with central heating and cooling.
You can choose between a king size bed or two double
beds, depending on availability. There are ice machines
located on each floor. Non-smoking rooms are not
available in the Alexandria Tower, however there are a
limited amount of non-smoking rooms available in the
Tunis Towers.

The deluxe rooms are located
in the Tangiers Towers and total 1,108 rooms. Each room
is equipped with an individually controlled heating and
cooling system. You can choose between a king size bed
or two double beds, depending on availability. Also
included in the bathroom is a hair dryer. We also have a
large percentage of non-smoking rooms available.
Additionally, there are ice and soda machines located on
each floor. Rooms with great views are based upon
availability.

Suites are located in our Tangiers or
Alexandria Tower and are geared towards business
travelers or luxurious tastes. Suites have a comfortable
parlor area; ideal for small meetings, entertaining
guests or television viewing. Parlors are connected to
the master bedroom. The master bedroom comes with a king
size bed. Some suites include balcony access and offers
spectacular views.

The Sahara Hotel
and Casino proudly presents magician of the year, Steve
Wyrick, and his multi-million dollar production. Wyrick
performs his unique brand of magic in the new, 875-seat
Sahara Theater.
Featured on numerous national television specials and
performances around the world, Wyrick performs some of
the most defiant and imaginative illusions anywhere. His
renowned "Blades of Death" illusion is unrivaled, while
the appearance of a twin-engine aircraft is the largest
stage illusion being performed in Las Vegas.
Wyrick has been mastering his talent since he was a
child growing up in Texas. His engagement at the Sahara
Hotel and Casino allows him to take his illusions to new
extremes. Wyrick is a daredevil who attempts things that
have never been tried anywhere before.
